EngageNY  – an initiative launched by the New York State Education Department. It was designed to help parents and educators grasp the new standards set forth by recently implemented changes in the educational system.

Math Education Associations

American Educational Research Association (AERA), founded in 1916, is concerned with improving the educational process by encouraging scholarly inquiry related to education and evaluation and by promoting the dissemination and practical application of research results.

International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education (PME), was established in 1976 to promote international contacts and exchange of scientific information in the field of mathematical education; to promote and stimulate interdisciplinary research;and to further a deeper and more correct understanding of the psychological and other aspects of teaching and learning mathematics.

National Council of Teachers of Mathematics  calls itself "a public voice of mathematics education." Its princicples and standards are available online.

APA Style for Works Cited

There are several copies of The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (Sixth edition, 2010) at the reference desk in the library.

APA has its own APA Style website with both quick answers and tutorials.
